Trust & transparency

Corrections

We’re building a Canadian personal finance site that you can trust with real money decisions. Part of that is owning our mistakes publicly. Every substantive correction - a wrong rate, a misstated rule, a math error - is logged here with the date and a short description.

What counts as a correction

  • Numerical errors - wrong tax bracket, wrong contribution limit, wrong policy rate, wrong calculation result
  • Misstated rules - incorrect description of CRA / OSFI / FCAC regulations or eligibility criteria
  • Outdated information that we failed to refresh on the schedule described in our Editorial Policy
  • Misattributions of quotes, sources, or institutional names

Typo fixes, copy-edits that don’t change meaning, and minor layout changes are not corrections and don’t appear here.

Correction log

No corrections logged yet. When the first one happens, it goes here - dated, described, and permanent.
